Pakistan’s new jersey for the Champions Trophy launched, unveiled in a colorful ceremony at Gaddafi Stadium
Pakistan’s white-ball captain Mohammad Rizwan and star batsman Babar Azam wore their team’s new jersey ahead of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.
Pakistan Cricket has captured the emotions of the fans by posting a special video on its social media account, in which they unveiled their team’s new kit and the newly built Gaddafi Stadium for the upcoming mega tournament.
Pakistan’s new jersey for the Champions Trophy has been launched.
The video highlights the message that while everyone in the country wears their own uniform, it is the Pakistan cricket team’s green jersey that unites them and ignites the spirit of support for their country. Later, the video shows Babar Azam, Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi and Fakhar Zaman wearing the new jersey along with female stars Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana.

Speaking on the occasion, national team captain Muhammad Rizwan said that our feelings are very good. When we play in our own crowd, the passion is something else.
He said that we get passion in Lahore, we hope to get the same support.
Speaking on the occasion of the kit unveiling, Babar Azam said, “Congratulations to all of you for building a new stadium. Whenever we play in Lahore, we get a lot of support.”
Shaheen Shah Afridi said that the people of Lahore have always supported us, we need the same support in this series and the entire Champions Trophy, pray for us, this Champions Trophy belongs to Pakistan.
He said that new memories will be made with the new stadium.
The tournament will be played from February 19 to March 9.
The Champions Trophy 2025 will begin on February 19 with the first match between hosts Pakistan and New Zealand. The tournament will feature 8 teams, divided into two groups, who will play 15 matches to reach the top 4 spots, 3 of which will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Pakistan’s matches will be played in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi, while India will play all its matches at the Dubai International Stadium. India and Pakistan have been placed together in Group A and the two teams will face each other in an expected clash in Dubai on Sunday, February 23.
Tri-series starts
Ahead of the Champions Trophy, Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium are also hosting a triangular ODI series between Pakistan, South Africa and New Zealand starting February 8.
The series will also provide the PCB with an opportunity to showcase its newly designed and redeveloped venues to the cricketing world ahead of the Champions Trophy. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) inaugurated its newly constructed Gaddafi Stadium with a special event for fans, featuring performances by top artists.
