Real Madrid vs Barcelona Super Cup Final 2025 schedule ‘El Clásico’

Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will be the stars of the 2025 Spanish Super Cup final in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) on Sunday, January 12, the first major title of the year. The Clásico is full of expectations and with the possibility that Los Blancos will equal the 14 titles held by Los Blaugranas in this competition.
The King Abdullah Stadium will be the stage for a new chapter in this historic rivalry. Although it is not the same stadium that hosted last season’s final, the Saudi stands are expected to be packed as was the case for the semi-final matches.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team arrive after beating RCD Mallorca with a convincing 3-0 in the semi-finals. For its part, Barcelona beat Athletic Club with a hard-fought 0-2 in a duel where figures such as Gavi and Lewandowski shone. Both teams have shown their strength and now face each other in a duel that promises to be intense.
It is worth remembering that this will be the second official Clásico of the season, after Barcelona’s memorable 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabéu , with goals from Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski on two occasions.
Last year, both teams faced each other in the final of this same tournament and Madrid won 4-1 , with a vinicius hat trick and another goal from Rodrygo – Lewandowski scored for Xavi’s team.
With a win, Madrid would equal Barça as the team with the most Super Cup victories. At the moment, the Catalans lead the list of winners with 14 , compared to the Merengues ‘ 13 .
