PSL 10: Karachi Kings beat Peshawar Zalmi by 23 runs

In the 27th match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Karachi Kings qualified for the playoffs by defeating Peshawar Zalmi by 23 runs.

In the match played in Rawalpindi, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and decided to field against Karachi Kings.

Batting first, Karachi Kings scored 237 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Karachi Kings captain David Warner scored 86 and James Vince scored 72 runs. Khushdil Shah scored 43 and Muhammad Nabi remained not out with 26 runs.

Luke Wood took two wickets for Peshawar Zalmi, while Ali Raza and Arif Yaqoob took one wicket each.

Chasing a target of 238, Peshawar Zalmi managed 214 for 5.

Babar Azam scored 94 and Saim Ayub scored 47 for Peshawar Zalmi.

Karachi Kings qualified for the playoffs after the victory, while Quetta Gladiators have already qualified for the playoffs.

Islamabad United have 10 points after 9 matches, while Lahore Qalandars have 9 points after 9 matches and Multan Sultans have been eliminated from the event.
