Paris Olympics 2024 Schedule

Since the implementation of Olympic Agenda 2020 in 2014, the IOC has encouraged Organizing Committees to offer new sports within the Olympic program of their edition, as “additional sports”.
It is this opportunity that allowed Paris 2024 to propose to the IOC the inclusion of four additional sports in its programmed. Paris 2024 has chosen young, creative, spectacular sports that are in step with the times: surfing, climbing, skateboarding and breaking. Paris 2024 is a continuation of the Tokyo 2020 Games, which have integrated three of these sports into their programmed: surfing, skateboarding and rock climbing. In this spirit of speaking to a young audience, and of inviting Generation 2024 to practice sport right up to the Games, Paris 2024 is taking advantage of this opportunity to renew these three sports, and to add breaking to them, and which will make its big entered the Olympic scene on the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
